Life With the Lyons

Life With The Lyons starred real-life husband and wife Ben Lyon and Bebe Daniels along with their daughter, Barbara and adopted son, Richard. Bebe Daniels created the show and co-wrote and script edited every episode. Her aim was to produce a family oriented radio comedy and she based the stories on (exaggerated) occurrences in their own lives.

Along with the Lyons were Molly Weir (playing their young Scottish housekeeper, Aggie), Doris Rogers and Horace Percival.

While still on BBC radio, the Lyons transferred to TV on the BBC and then ITV.
