The Men From The Ministry

The Men From The Ministry ran from 1962 to 1977 and starred Richard Murdoch and Wilfred Hyde White, who was replaced by Deryck Guyler after 1966. They played two middle-ranking civil servants in the General Assistance Department of an unnamed Ministry, trying desperately to do as little work as possible given the scant reward they could expect to receive.

The Men From The Ministry was adapted by both South African and Finnish radio stations and ran for over 900 episodes in the former production.
